SasPlanet: Software N ° 1 for downloading high resolution satellite images
To create a map in geographic information system (GIS) software, high-resolution satellite images such as Google Earth, Bing or others are often used. These images are available on websites and applications, but their exploitation and downloading have remained one of the handicaps of many people working in the field of cartography. In this context, several programs have tried to solve this problem, but they do not allow us to download satellite images in a very simple way, with a high resolution and different dates, and from different sources.
The SasPlanet software is for the moment the only application to host a large number of satellite images and maps of different applications (Google Maps, Bing, openstreet, Nokia, Yahoo, Wikimapia, etc.).
